"First Click on start button.

Open Microsoft Word.

Click on ""New"" to create a new document.

Click on ""File"" on the top left side and click on ""Info""

Select ""Protect Document"" Option.

Choose ""Encrypt with Password"" and create a password for the document and enter the same password twice.

Click on ""Save"" to save the document and choose its location where you would like to save it.

Now your document is password protected"
