No indication a file is modified

What I did:
- Dropped a folder on Kod
- Chose a file from the side bar
- Made some changes
What I expected to happen:
When I change the file there should be an indication, either via the standard traffic light buttons or on a given tab that the current file has unsaved changes.
What actually happened:
There is no indication in the UI that the file had been modified.
