Dedenting from the beginning of a line moves the caret to another line

Reported by Lou | January 11th, 2011 @ 01:52 PM | in 0.0.4

What I did: Shift-Tab on an already indented line and my caret was at the beginning of the line.

What I expected to happen: The line was supposed to be dedented by 2 spaces and my caret was supposed to stay on the first column (beginning of the line).

What actually happened: The line was dedented successfully but the caret moved 2 lines above (they were empty). If the line above hadn't been empty, the caret would have moved 2 characters back.

Also if I do this on the very first line of the document, the caret disappears and I have to press the Down arrow to get it back on screen.

Is there anyone out there who would like to explain something to me? There is this topic depending from the beginning of a line moves the caret to another line, but I don’t know anything about it. It would be great if someone guides me through here. You had custom essay writing service reviews. Any kind of help would be appreciated.
