Dirty Tabs not always asking user to save

What I did:
- Open a folder
- Open two file
- In the last file opened, hit any character before clicking anything else
- Right away, close that file.
What I expected to happen:
It ask if I wanted to save
What actually happened:
It just closed, even though the tab was dirty/modified.
