Feature: auto-save

It would be very good to have a document autosaved (even more here in the early beta days).

    • State changed from “new” to “open”
    • Assigned user set to “rsms”
    • Tag set to autosave, feature, saving, ux

This could be done quite easily as a first, basic implementation if it's based on the already existing auto-save feature of the NSDocument machinery.

I would like to add my perfect feature: continuous saving to a git repo. So each and every keystroke would be committed to a draft branch and be reversable to the very first letter. And every cmd-s saves the whole lot into one commit into the master branch. That would be a real coder's editor. Obviously the whole git thing would be optional but nonetheless great.
